Since its foundation in 1976 Renascença DTVM LTDA has set its focus on the financial and capital markets, where it operates especially in the Fixed-Income and Open Market segments targeting and dealing with institutional clients. Its equity stock department has contributed towards starting up and underwriting various companies on its own or in partnership with other companies. It has been building strong presence in the interbank market since 1986, and currently ranks among the most active brokerage firms. Always at the forefront of innovation in its drive to meet market needs, the firm has been offering greater agility, transparence, liquidity and security to the business and, as a result, since August 1998, has become a feeder of the largest and most modern information diffusion networks, providing data on the purchase, sale and trading of Brazilian government debt securities, as well as other real-time services at approximately 1,000,000 terminals that can be accessed without any restrictions by subscribers in more than 187 countries and 330 cities worldwide.

Due to economic globalization and proposed expansion of its share of the financial and agricultural markets, Renascença became a BM&F clearing member and full commodities broker in March 2000. In view of the changes that have been taking place in the secondary market for government securities and to enable it to engage in the new forms of trading introduced by electronic systems, Renascença started to operate via BM&F’s SISBEX and CETIP’s CETIPNET.

On August 9, 2007, the Commodities and Futures Exchange - BM&F held a ceremony to hand out the Operational Qualification Program – PQO seals.  RENASCENÇA DTVM LTDA was awarded the Execution Broker and Retail Broker Qualification Seals.

Execution Broker:  Certified brokerage firms focused on professional trading.
